located in the Downtown Oakland Park Culinary Arts District. By the end of this year, we expect to have it remodeled, using more than 10,000 sq. ft. of showroom space, in addition to our current 15,000 sq. ft. location at 616 Oakland Park Blvd. This is a dream come true for us.
The new design center is in the former Sikes Building at 3484 NE 12th Ave. It will feature an extensive showcase of functional and interactive kitchen and bathroom models as well as extensive displays of cabinetry, appliances, decorative hardware, plumbing, lighting, flooring, outdoor kitchens and home accessories. It will also have technologically advanced and interactive display systems with flat screens and projectors, to help our clients better visualize their remodeling dreams.
The development of the Culinary Arts District is part of the city’s renewed investment in Downtown Oakland Park, which has recently become home to exciting new restaurants and cooking establishments. We are in search of culinary-related tenants with which to share the space, so email([email protected]) or call me if you are interested in getting more information about these opportunities.
Our Oakland Park Mayor Shari McCartney was so kind to write this to me the other day - "Allied Kitchen & Bath is a perfect fit for Oakland Park's Culinary District. We are thrilled that you share Oakland Park’s vision as a unique culinary destination featuring food, food related events, and high-end culinary retailers."
When reflecting on how we got to where we are today with Allied, Joe and I consistently come back to the fact that the business was built around family values and commitment to service. Today, Allied continues to focus on those values and on giving back to our community. Nothing makes up prouder than these three initiatives - and we are thankful for our family’s and our community’s support along the way.
